Leea Nanos, a 16-year-old student from Catholic Ladies’ College, Eltham, has been selected to perform her song ‘Set Me Free’ live on SBS’s Eurovision – Australia Decides on Saturday 9 February.

She will be competing against artists such as Kate Miller-Heidke, Courtney Act and former St Bernard’s College, Essendon, student and The Voice finalist, Aydan Calafiore, to represent Australia in the 64th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Tel Aviv later this year.

‘To represent the country I love so much and sing my own song across the globe would be a dream come true’, said the young artist.

Leea has also been involved in multiple musical productions, including Catholic Education Melbourne’s Time to Shine. She participated in 2016’s Catholic Schools Performing Arts Gala and, in 2018, she performed her own song ‘Unstoppable’ alongside St Columba’s College, Essendon, student Desiree Katakis.
