The current student population is 650.The vast majority of students were born in Australia but many of their parents were born overseas. Fifty per cent of students are from a language background other than English and 36 students study a language other than English at an ethnic school. The school is made up of families whose main spoken language at home is English, with Italian, Croatian, Maltese and Polish being the predominant cultural groups in the school community.

The following excerpt from our vision statement reflects who we are and what is important to us: ‘Faith leaders, teachers, parents, children and parish community gather to educate, celebrate, reflect and pray because of being one, holy, catholic and apostolic’.

Features:

Specialist programs include Music, LOTE, Art and Library. The school hall is used by the Before-and-After-School Care Program. There is an oval, an adventure playground, a shade area and an asphalt area with facilities for children to play volleyball, basketball and netball. The school grounds are maintained through working bees conducted on a voluntary basis.

Parent involvement in the school is encouraged and supported. Parents are involved in a number of committees and support groups. They are involved in the classroom as helpers and also assist on school camps and excursions.
