The mixed netball team from St Thomas The Apostle School, Blackburn, are Victoria’s school champions for the second year running.

The team, runners-up in 2017 and victors in 2018, claimed the title last Friday at the Waverley Netball Centre. With coaching by Monique Curtis, a Year 5/6 teacher at the school, and her assistant coach Lyndal Klepac, the students were committed, practised hard and worked incredibly well as a team. Congratulations also to the team from St Bernadette’s School, Ivanhoe West, the only other Catholic school in this division in the 2019 final, who were runners-up.
