Upcoming events for term 3.12 July 2019

It’s all about preparing for moon missions and secret powers as students and teachers return for the start of Term 3.

Destination Moon: more missions, more science is the school theme for National Science Week. In the lead up to Science Week, Melbourne Zoo is holding a Women in STEM conference for Year 7 to 10 girls in Catholic schools.

Reading is My Secret Power is the theme for the Children’s Book Council of Australia Book Week. The book of the year award winners will be announced on Friday 16 August with Book Week beginning on Saturday 17 August.

It’s not just about migrants is the theme for Migrant and Refugee Week. The Australian Catholic Migrant and Refugee Office challenges us to think about migrants as well as ourselves, our fears and our hopes.
