Construction of a new campus for Catholic Regional College Melton, Melton, has begun.

The new campus at Cobblebank, south-east of Melton, will open with up to 200 Year 7 students in January 2023. The school will grow to accommodate 1500 students from Years 7 to 12 by 2028.

The original Melton campus was established in 1980 as a Year 7–10 college. The first VCE classes at the school began in 2011. In 2023, the college will mark its next stage as a multi-campus school by changing its name to St Francis Catholic College.
