Despite the obstacles of the past year, students from St Ambrose’s School, Woodend, haven’t lost their sense of optimism.

Together with musician Genevieve Bryant, the Class of 2020 wrote and performed a song, ‘The best times’, celebrating their resilience and determination despite missing out on some key celebrations of their school life. The song lives on as a special message to the current students at the school to keep their focus and to realise that, despite the difficulties, they are living in the best times. ‘We are proud of our students who faced the challenges of 2020 with a growth mindset and with a view to look for opportunities, to learn and grow while doing things differently’, said the school’s principal, Bronwyn Phillips.
