Both St Joseph’s and St Mary’s remote learning portals are designed to be ‘a one-stop shop for teachers and families using the Google platform that connects to what the students are already using’, said Mrs Espenschied.

‘There are morning whole-school prayers and check-ins to ensure connection and consistency. Lessons designed using our learning process of stimulating recall and applying learning through differentiated tasks are sent by Seesaw and Google Classroom. Consistency across both schools allowed for sharing of learning and supporting teachers. Moving forward, we will be using the sites for home learning and engaging parents in the learning.’
