The future is listening is the theme of this year’s Catholic Education Week, 15–22 March.

Held each year, Catholic Education Week celebrates the students, teachers and families from Catholic schools around the Archdiocese. In addition to events happening at individual schools, a number of large central events celebrate the unique Catholic identity of schools across Melbourne.

Archbishop Peter A Comensoli will celebrate the Mass of St Patrick for Schools for up to 3,000 students at St Patrick’s Cathedral. The Mass will be followed by a concert in the park for primary students.

The Catholic Leadership Centre will host a number of large events during the week. The Creative Arts Exhibition (formerly the Visual Arts Exhibition) is open to the public from Monday 16 March to Saturday 21 March, and is a showcase of the artistic talents in our schools. Our newest teachers will be welcomed at the Graduate Teacher Celebration, and the Young Speakers Colloquium involves speakers and presentations to inspire students in the middle secondary years. Catholic Education Week Live FM will be broadcasting from the stage of Celtic Hall throughout the week.
