Professional Learning in Leadership Development

Catholic Education Melbourne offers programs for leaders at every stage of the Leadership Continuum. The programs provide flexible learning and combine training and capacity building. 

Professional Learning programs and initiatives are underpinned by the Leadership Standards Framework (see CEM's forthcoming revision of Leadership in Catholic Schools: Development Framework and Standards of Practice), which identifies the different strengths, needs and aspirations of leaders at key stages in their careers.

Catholic Education Leadership Facilitators (CELF) Program

A targeted professional opportunity for participants who have completed the 'Middle Leadership Program' to become accredited facilitators of the MLP.

A program for those considering principalship in the next 3 years.

Critical Quarter (CQ)

The program provides expert and targeted professional learning to newly appointed principals prior to and in the first 90 days of their first principalship.

P—12 Principal Induction Process (Year 1 and Year 2 Principals)

This process is systematically coordinated across Catholic Education Melbourne to provide a range of initiatives designed to support principals in their first and second years of principalship.
