History:

A Catholic independent school conducted on behalf of seven parishes of the Diamond Valley Deanery and a member of the Assocation of Co-educational Schools (A.C.S.).
Established in 1980 on land provided by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) and originally part of its novitiate from 1934 to 1974. John Kennedy is the Foundation Principal.


Description:

This Year 7-12 co-educational school set on 19 acres in Watsonia, serves the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne and, by special arrangement, accepts students from Catholic schools in Indonesia.
Strong pastoral care program anchored in a history of healthy staff-student relationships.
Emphasis on quality curriculum, good teaching and an extensive co-curricular (after class) program.
Staff development has concentrated on having a high proportion of staff undertake ACU Diploma in Religious Education and MCD Bachelor of Theology.

A three year Band course which provides intensive musical training for students
In Year 7, students choose two out of French, Indonesian and Italian. In Year 8 to 10 one language must be studied except by those needing extra work in English. All three languages are taught at Years 11-12.
