Two Catholic colleges took out the School Division Championships of the 2018 AUSACA Australian A Capella School Division Championship Finals held on Saturday at Wesley College.
In the School Ensemble Division, Star of the Sea College, Brighton, group Stacella took first prize in their third year of competing. They went into the finals with the highest score from the judges in the School Ensemble Division Video Finals.
Aquinas College, Ringwood, group Synergy won the School Band Division, as well as Best Contemporary Song – all in their first year of competing! Adam Casamento from Aquinas, and Time to Shine performer, was also one of two winners of the Best Vocal Percussionist award.
