The students of St Peter’s School, Sunshine South West, took to the stage for This is Me in front of a sell-out crowd.

This is Me, the school’s second musical production, followed the story of Charlie and her dreams of performing in the school choir. As Charlie’s positive and negative emotions battle for control, she learns to believe in herself and succeed.

‘We wanted to create a story that our students could relate to’, said Grace Frazzica, the school’s Student Wellbeing Leader. ‘The struggle that Charlie goes through is the same as the struggle we all experience from time to time. It’s important for our students to see that they should always believe in themselves and never give up.’

With a finale that included every student in the school on stage, the show closed to thunderous applause from the delighted audience. ‘Last year we created our first production, Mr Grump, and it was amazing to see our students working hard to bring it all together’, said Grace. ‘They’re already excited about what we’ll do for the next production.’
