Rev. Monsignor Tony Ireland blessed Chorus Luminis, the latest art installation at Aquinas College, Ringwood.

The installation represents the staff contribution to the College's Catholic Identity Project following the student contribution unveiled earlier this year. Catholic Education Melbourne Education Officer Paul Fumei and Regional Principal Consultant Vicky Myers also joined staff and special guests to acknowledge and participate in the Blessing Ceremony.

Chorus Luminis depicts three flame-like figures in movement with each other. It describes a connection linking the Aquinas College community to the value that binds us, which is love. The flame relates to the College motto, Illuminare et Ardere, challenging students to be beacons of light and love. The sculpture also makes reference to the Trinity and the dance of the Holy Spirit within College life.

Chorus Luminis has been installed in the College Forum, the gathering place of the College, and a fitting place to give witness to their Catholic Identity.
