Update: St Bede's College has announced that as a school they have raised in excess of $100,000, a figure that has not been achieved before at the school!

St Bede’s College, Mentone, held their Mission Action Day on 24 March 2017 and Principal Br Garry Coyte commented that ‘The students’ involvement in
the day was excellent’. The prime task on the day to raise funds for Lasallian overseas projects, including: the Bamboo School in Thailand, the 'Lost and
the Least' in India and the unemployed in Papua New Guinea.

With donations still coming in well after Mission Action Day finished, the figure as of last Tuesday was over $93,000. Many individual students raised outstanding amounts and the money raised supports the following:

Lasallian Foundation – $30,000
PNG-Hohola School – $20,000
Thailand Outreach Program – $20,000
Indian Outreach Program – $10,000+
