Students and teachers from Holy Name School, Reservoir, celebrating their love of Italy at their annual Carnevale Day.22 March 2019

Holy Name School, Reservoir, celebrated their love of Italy at their annual Carnevale Day.

Students dressed creatively in ‘a touch of Italy’ attire, which they displayed at the Carnevale parade. Venetian masks created during Art lessons were worn during the day’s celebrations. The parent community generously assisted with cooking Italian cuisine for the students. Pizza, pasta and gelato was described as bellissimo.

The day continued in merriment with an Italian performance by Ciao Carnevale, an interactive musical/dance group. Thank you to the school’s Italian teacher, Signora Anna Bregu, for coordinating such a memorable event which involved all facets of the school community.
