The new Year 7 students at St Monica’s College, Epping, hosted their proud grandparents earlier this month.
In front of hundreds of people gathered in the school hall, Year 7 students Tommy and Madison spoke to the group about their experiences since starting at the college, and thanked grandparents for being positive role models for young people today. Students then took their grandparents on a tour of the college, went into their classrooms, met their teachers and inspected the facilities.
‘Year 7 is an exciting time as the students progress from primary to secondary education and there is genuine excitement as they have the opportunity to welcome their grandparents on campus’, said St Monica’s Principal, Mr Brian Hanley.
