The fun hasn’t stopped as Catholic schools are staying connected and sharing the hopeful message that we are in this together.

Staff at St Peter Julian Eymard, Mooroolbark, shared a video of the familiar faces of the school staff giving positive messages to encourage students and families learning from home. It is just one way that the school community can continue to be ‘spirit-filled people, working together on a journey of learning’, said principal Greg Thomas. In these times, ‘we have looked at ways we can live out our vision: “Spirit-filled people. Working together. On a journey of learning. Embracing life and creating our future”.’

Principal Ann Engellenner of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour School, Surrey Hills, said: ‘Last week, two of our teachers drove around to 70 of our families and filmed them waving – they were dressed up in all sorts of wonderful colours. We put this video together as a way of connecting our community during these really challenging times. It has done so much to lift the spirits of our community.’
