Students from St Margaret Mary’s School, Spotswood, have been learning about space, filming TV commercials and meeting one of the world’s most famous astrophysicists all at the same time.

Ten students from the school were invited to meet Cosmos: Possible Worlds presenter Neil deGrasse Tyson to discuss their questions about the universe while filming promotional content for the show. The shoot at Scienceworks in Spotswood was under the 16 m full-dome video-projection ceiling, and used the unique immersive environment as the perfect backdrop for Neil and the students to explore questions about the universe.
