Role Description:
Year Level/Subject: Prep-Year 6.
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified leading teachers to join our collaborative leadership team. The position is an ongoing full-time position as the ICT Leader at School of the Good Shepherd, beginning on or after Term 2, 2019.
The ICT (Information and Communication Technology) LEADER role is dedicated towards the improvement of learning outcomes for our students. The role is includes, but is not limited to:
- assisting teams in planning to implement the ICT and Digital Technologies Curriculum, including scaffolding effective planners, created by collaborative thinking
- ensure the inclusion and progression of relevant curriculum from the Victorian Curriculum
- assist teachers to use a variety of teaching modes and include a variety of classroom activities in their daily teaching
- help teachers to connect digital technologies with real life (students should have the opportunity to practise and connect such concepts with authentic experiences)
- encourage professional sharing and celebration of good practise
- allow for intervention and extension of students as needed
- assist teachers to develop a range of strategies based on current technological advancements
- stay up to date with current technological advancements
- comply with AITSL Teaching standards
- display leadership and commitment as pat of the school leadership team
- living our Gospel values and the Values of Jesus the Good Shepherd.
