It was nothing but net for the boys basketball team from St Thomas the Apostle School, Blackburn, taking out the School Sport Victoria state final on Image of St Thomas the Apostle School, Blackburn basketball team.

Monday. They remained undefeated during the heats on the day and ended up winning the final, defeating Glen Katherine Primary School 51–34.

Their smallest winning margin across their four games on the day was an impressive 15 points. The team are now up to 22 consecutive wins. ‘We have finished Year 6 with a bang and fulfilled one of our primary school dreams’.

This follows on from the sporting success of the school’s mixed netball team who came second in the state in September.
